Helloooo my name is Rachel Warwick, I come from Hampshire and I have finished my second year at the University of Exeter studying Maths & German. I’m spending my third year abroad as an English Language Assistant in Austria, and I’m living in an alpine town called Saalfelden in the Salzburg region of the country. Basically I’m going there because my favourite film is The Sound of Music,  and because I lied on my application form and I said I’m a die-hard Mozart fan.

I started this blog to let my friends and family know all about my adventures and year abroad experiences (and to try and make my life look better and more exciting than it actually is lol). However, as well as my adventures, it’s turned into a blog full of embarrassing stories and anecdotes, I’m basically a real life Bridget Jones, but without the attractive men.
